本节课是五下第8单元的第一课时,是一节语篇教学课.现代课堂阅读教学结构大体上分为三个阶段：阅读前、阅读中和阅读后,目的是确保通过阅读教学帮助学生形成处理文本的能力.本节课中,我深度挖掘教材资源,遵循整体——局部——整体的教学思路,注重前后知识的联系,让语言学习在真实的、自然的师生互动中进行；同时为学生提供思考和语言交际的机会,让英语课堂成为学生彰显个性的舞台.

1.It’s me.
T： Look, it’s me. My English name is Rose. And my birthday is on the first of April. This is the first of April, and this is the second of April. How do we say it? （引导学生说出四月三日） Can you circle the eighth of April? （引导学生猜eighth 的意思,并学习单词eighth,及词组the eighth of April）
T： （课件出示五月份的日历）I think, May is the most important month of a year. Because Mother’s Day is in it. When is Mother’s Day? （引导学生说出 on the eleventh of May, 并学习eleventh）
